Hi! Thanks for visiting. My name is Val Laferrière and this section of the Legends & Legacies web site developed from my personal interest. My father and aunt were raised in an orphanage. I was astonished by the lack of published information available and frequently discouraged by the lack of assistance I received from these retired institutions. Hopefully this site will remedy some of that.
